A structured SIRI Assessment gives manufacturers a clear baseline, a prioritised gap analysis, and an actionable roadmap for smart manufacturing transformation.

Framework
- 01Developed in SingaporeCreated by the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) and the World Economic Forum to guide manufacturers through Industry 4.0 transformation.
- 02Structured & RepeatableAssesses digital maturity across 16 dimensions using a consistent scoring methodology — results are comparable and trackable over time.
- 03Roadmap-Driven OutputThe output isn't just a score — it's a prioritised, impact-driven transformation roadmap built around your facility's actual gaps.
Four Reasons
Manufacturers
Can't Wait
Most manufacturers invest in technology without knowing their actual baseline. SIRI surfaces gaps in process, technology and organisation readiness before they compound into bigger costs.
Not all upgrades deliver equal ROI. SIRI scores your operations across 16 dimensions so you can direct capital towards initiatives with the highest business impact and fastest payback.
SIRI is a recognised assessment to justify the gaps to applying for Singapore government grants including the Enterprise Development Grant (EDG) and other Industry 4.0 funding schemes.
Leave the assessment with a structured, evidence-based transformation plan your leadership team can act on immediately — not a generic checklist or a vendor pitch.

Frequently Asked
Questions
Not mandatory in all cases, but it is strongly recommended and widely used as supporting documentation. The Enterprise Development Grant (EDG) under EnterpriseSG requires applicants to demonstrate a clear need and baseline for the proposed project. A SIRI Assessment provides exactly that — a structured, scored baseline across 16 dimensions that substantiates your grant application with objective evidence. Assessors and programme managers respond well to SIRI-backed submissions because the methodology is endorsed by the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) and the World Economic Forum.
The full assessment is completed within 3 working days. This includes on-site interviews, operational data review, scoring, gap analysis, and preparation of all five deliverables. From your team, we typically require participation from key personnel across operations, IT/OT, and management — usually a plant manager or operations lead, an IT or automation engineer, and a senior decision-maker for the executive briefing. We will confirm the exact attendee requirements during scoping.
Every SIRI Assessment with LKH Precicon delivers: (1) a SIRI Scorecard covering all 16 dimensions with ratings and commentary; (2) an Industry Benchmarking Report comparing your facility against sector peers in the region; (3) a detailed Gap Analysis across Process, Technology, and Organisation; (4) a Prioritised Transformation Roadmap ranking high-impact, feasible initiatives; and (5) an Executive Presentation Deck — a board-ready summary of findings and recommendations. All five are included within the package.
Most Industry 4.0 maturity models are either too high-level to be actionable or too vendor-specific to be credible. SIRI was developed specifically for manufacturing operations by the Singapore EDB and the World Economic Forum, and assesses 16 dimensions across three pillars — Process, Technology, and Organisation — using a consistent 1–5 scoring methodology. This makes results comparable over time and across facilities. Unlike proprietary frameworks, SIRI carries institutional credibility with government agencies, making it the preferred baseline for grant applications and formal transformation programmes in Singapore.
The assessment is primarily conducted on-site at your facility. This is deliberate — a meaningful SIRI assessment requires direct observation of your production environment, control systems, and operational workflows. Certain preparatory and documentation stages can be handled remotely in advance to maximise the efficiency of the on-site visit, but the core assessment itself requires physical access to your plant floor and equipment.
The roadmap we deliver is structured around initiatives such as IIoT connectivity and automation to energy management systems and cybersecurity for OT environments. LKH Precicon could become your partner, not just an assessment body. The goal of the assessment is your facility's transformation.
We recommend discussing this with our team during the scoping conversation, as grant conditions and programme availability change periodically. What we can confirm is that the SIRI Assessment output is accepted as qualifying evidence for EDG applications, which can fund up to 50% of qualifying project costs for eligible SMEs.
Yes. SIRI is designed to be repeatable and comparable, which makes it well-suited to multi-site assessments. Each facility is assessed independently and scored against the same 16-dimension framework, allowing you to benchmark sites against each other and prioritise investment across your portfolio. For multi-site engagements, please contact us to discuss scoping and pricing.
LKH Precicon has over four decades of technical experience in industrial automation, power quality, and smart manufacturing across Singapore and the region. Our SIRI assessors are practitioners — engineers and technical consultants who work with manufacturing plants daily. This means the roadmap we produce is grounded in implementable, commercially available solutions rather than theoretical recommendations. We also have direct relationships with technology partners including Omron, Schneider Electric, Fortinet, ABB, WERMA, and others — which means we can back our recommendations with proven product and system integration capability.
Our primary experience spans electronics manufacturing, semiconductor manufacturing, precision engineering, food and beverage processing, and pharmaceutical production — all significant sectors in Singapore's industrial landscape. That said, the SIRI framework is sector-agnostic by design, and the 16-dimension scoring methodology applies consistently across manufacturing verticals.
