Course Overview

Leveraging on the wide range of OMRON Adept Robots deployed at the smart factory within Temasek Polytechnic Advanced Manufacturing Centre for flexible production of 6 different products in high-mix-low-volume, our experienced trainers and industrial coach from Advanced Automation Queen Bee, OMRON Electronics will equip the participants with knowledge and skills to initialise, calibrate, operate industrial robots in particular mobile robots and articulated robots. The learners will also be guided to set up and plan paths and tasks for mobile robots, design Human Machine Interface (HMI), write robot motion programmes as well as read and write RFID tags for tracking components. In addition, participants will learn to interface programmable logic controllers (PLC) with robots as well as debug robotics programs for recovering common faults in robotic applications.
